The wheat field image above is symbolic of sowing, reaping, growth, and productivity.  These four components easily intertwine with the process of art creating.

Art creation can foster a greater understanding of oneself because it frequently requires a person to look inward for personal meaning and/or inspiration.  This "greater understanding" readily encourages the unique creative thought that is sown into the art making process, in order to reap an original work of art.   Finally, personal growth naturally follows a greater understanding of oneself, gained through the productivity of art creating. 

 

It is my hope that each of my students enjoy this creative process, gain a greater understanding of themselves,  and experience significant personal growth, as they continue developing their unique talents toward the making of original artwork.
