Traditional Mixed Media is a more advanced course that offers the student an opportunity to work with a variety of art media within a singular artwork. This approach to creating art will be explored in both 2 D and 3 D formats.
Traditional 2 D and 3 D art materials, as well as, non traditional materials and found objects, will be combined to create unique and/or aesthetically pleasing artworks.
You must have completed at least three courses that provide prior experience in Drawing, Painting, and Ceramics before signing up for Traditional Mixed Media.
This is a fun exploratory course that can take your artwork to the next level and aid in building an impressive portfolio for admission to post secondary art school.
